Lately, I’ve been playing a little game with the Universe. I ask for very specific signs — and then I wait. One of the biggest intentions I’ve been putting out is this: God, show me how to age gracefully.
No meds. No wheelchairs. Just vibrant, joyful living until the end. And let me tell you — the signs have been coming through loud and clear. But today’s message? It was next level.
A Divine Encounter at TJMaxx
After yoga this morning, I felt a little nudged to go to TJMaxx. At first, I resisted — I didn’t feel like going. But then came that familiar intuitive whisper: “Go.” And so I did.
And that’s when I met Shirley. She stopped me to ask if the purse she was holding looked cheap (already, I was smiling). She told me she had a date — and didn’t want to spend too much but still look fabulous.
As we chatted, she casually mentioned she was in her late 80s. And dating not one, but two younger men — one 75, and the other 68! My jaw dropped in the best way.
Her husband had passed two years earlier, and here she was — glowing, playful, confident, and fully alive. I told her how gorgeous she looked and complimented her hair. She lit up like the sun!
We found her a purse for $16, and I walked out of that store with a full heart and the biggest smile on my face.
This Is What Aging Gracefully Looks Like
Shirley was vibrant.
She was magnetic.
She was proof that life doesn’t end at 60, or 70… or even 80.
This is what I’m calling in: a life filled with joy, movement, connection, and light — no matter the number of candles on the cake.
This is aging gracefully with soul and sparkle.
