May 24, 2011 Waking up this morning was pure bliss. We hadn’t spent the night together since Miami on Day 6. This fairytale was becoming a reality. I picked up the phone to call room service.
Room Service: Good Morning Mrs. Friedman Me: order food, hang up.
Ben: I can’t wait to spend every night with you. When the kids leave for camp, we will be together all the time.
Me: me too. What do I call you?
Ben: (laughs out loud) what do you mean? Me: well do I call you my boyfriend?
That’s kind of weird. You’re not a boy. But you are my friend. Ben: laughing
Me: I’ll call you my 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑
Ben: laughing louder. I don’t like that.
Me: but it’ll be funny to see how people react. both of us laughing. Me: how about I just call you 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟?
Ben: sounds great princess. Enjoy your day. I’ll see you for dinner. Breakfast is on its way…
Lucky me . I got to spend the day on the beach while Ben went to work. This would be the first of many trips this way…
The calm before the storm… who’s coming back for more?
