Heather Viccaro, LAc, Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Heather has been studying and practicing alternative medicine for more than fifteen years. She completed her undergraduate work with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and received a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. Her work is also informed by her own healing journey, which gives her unique, compassionate insight into her patients’ experience.
She now practices a personalized approach to health care, prioritizing holistic investigation of the underlying interferences standing in the way of health. Whether these interferences are emotional, physical or spiritual, Heather’s extensive medical training and unique gifts as an intuitive lead her clients on a path to true mind/body/spirit wellness.
Heather specializes in nutrition counseling, weight loss, anti-aging, pain management, fertility, and overall health and well being.
Darren Louie, LAc, MSTOM
Darren Louie earned his Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. In addition to his extensive academic training, Darren sought to augment his Chinese Medicine experience through an acupuncture internship at NYU Langone Lutheran Hospital. His mission is to help people thrive by eliminating whatever is holding them back in life. Darren focuses on allergy elimination, injury recovery, pain management, sleep disorders, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, and facial rejuvenation. He also practices pediatric acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy.
Darren enjoys spending time with his three children and continues to expand his horizons in studies of East Asian Medicine.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, stress reduction, headaches, migraines, and fertility. That doesn’t mean that She will not treat back pain, hip pain or other ailments. What it means is that there is always an underlying emotional attachment to pain and her goal is to uncover and heal the root of the problem.
Shilamida got her masters in Oriental Medicine from Eastern School of Acupuncture in 2012. She practices Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese style acupuncture, which is a style of acupuncture that provides instant feedback to the patient.
